What RideMind collects, why, who helps us, how long we keep it, and your rights. Where something is still being confirmed, this page says so rather than guess.

Who we are

RideMind is run by Rigomi Limited (company number 13075694), 66 Paul Street, London EC2A 4NA, United Kingdom. We are responsible for your personal information. Our registration number with the Information Commissioner's Office is C2006300.

For anything about your information — a question, a request or a complaint — email support@ridemind.ai.

Who RideMind is for

You must be 18 or over to have an account. A parent or guardian can use RideMind for their child: the parent holds the account, films and uploads the rides, and reads the coaching. The child doesn't use the app.

Still being confirmed

The legal basis for coaching a young rider whose parent holds the account, and how our suppliers' terms apply to it. If our suppliers' terms don't allow it, we may have to stop coaching young riders. We're still confirming this. If you need the detail now, email support@ridemind.ai.

What we collect and why

  • Your account — your email address and password, to sign you in and keep your account secure, and the record that you agreed to our terms when you signed up: which version, and when.
  • Your rider profile — your name, date of birth, whether you are a parent using RideMind for your child, your riding experience, level and goals, your height and weight if you give them, your bike and the changes you have made to it, and a profile picture if you add one. We use these to fit the coaching to you.
  • Your rides — the video and its sound, and what you tell us you were trying to do. A clip can include other people, places and anything said while it was recording.
  • Your reports — the coaching, still pictures and short clips from your ride, illustrations, your star ratings, feedback and corrections, your ride history and your credits.
  • Your bikes — the details you give us and any photos you add.
  • If you use RideMind for your child, the profile and the rides are about your child: their name, date of birth, riding details, any physical limitation you tell us about, their height and weight if you give them, and videos of them riding.
  • Technical records — the pages and actions you request, account and device ID numbers, device details and errors, so we can run and protect the service.
  • The waitlist — if you join it on our home page, your email address and the details you give, so we can tell you when RideMind is available. That is not permission to send you anything else.

If you choose to tell us about a long-term physical limitation, such as an old injury, it is sent with your ride to Anthropic so the coaching takes it into account. If your coaching mentions it, it is also in the report Google reads aloud, where we have switched that on. It's optional, and you can change or remove it on your Profile page at any time.

Still being confirmed

A separate, specific choice for health-related details like this. We're still confirming this. If you need the detail now, email support@ridemind.ai.

A profile picture is stored at a web address that anyone who has the address can open. Don't add one you wouldn't want seen.

Some phones store where and when a video was recorded inside the video file.

Still being confirmed

Whether every upload has that location record removed before it reaches our suppliers. We're still confirming this. If you need the detail now, email support@ridemind.ai.

Please avoid filming people who haven't agreed to it, private conversations, or anything you don't need to share. We coach the main rider, but anyone else in the clip is still in the video our suppliers receive.

Who helps us provide RideMind

These companies process information for us. They don't all receive the same information.

Google
Watches your video and listens to its sound; makes and checks coaching illustrations from pictures of your ride; records the read-aloud voice for your report where we have switched that on.
YouTube (Google)
Shows coaches' videos inside the app, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode, and their preview pictures. When a preview loads or you play a video, YouTube receives your device's internet address and browser details.
Anthropic
Writes your coaching from the details of your rides, your earlier reports and your profile, and looks at still pictures from your ride to check key moments, such as whether a wheel left the ground.
Modal
Measures the rider's position in the footage. It receives the whole clip, and still pictures from it to check coaching illustrations.
Supabase
Stores your account, rides and reports, handles sign-in, and sends sign-in emails.
Vercel
Hosts the app.
Inngest
Runs the jobs that analyse your ride and passes their results along.
Alibaba Cloud
A backup analysis service we can switch to if our main one is unavailable.

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in. RideMind has no advertising or analytics trackers. The app also keeps an upload in progress, and a few settings such as your chosen voice, on your phone so you don't lose them.

Where your information is processed

Some of these companies process information outside the UK, including in the United States. The backup analysis service is Alibaba Cloud's international service, run from Singapore.

Still being confirmed

The exact locations each company uses, and the safeguards that apply to each transfer. We're still confirming this. If you need the detail now, email support@ridemind.ai.

AI training

Making your report is separate from training AI. Google says the paid service we use doesn't use what we send it to improve its products. Anthropic's business terms don't allow it to train on what we send it without our permission. Both may keep information for a limited time for security, to prevent abuse, or for legal reasons.

RideMind doesn't use your rides to train AI and doesn't use them in advertising. If we ever offer a way to contribute clips to help improve RideMind, it will be a separate choice that starts switched off, and saying no will never affect your coaching.

How long we keep things

  • Your original video is normally deleted once your report is made. If the analysis fails, we keep it so you can try again.
  • When we measure the rider's position, we keep a silent copy of the ride with that measurement drawn on it, and a sheet of still frames from it, as part of your report.
  • Your reports, with their pictures and clips, stay until you delete your account. To remove a single report, email support@ridemind.ai.
  • Deleting your account removes your account, profile, rides, reports and every picture and clip stored with them straight away. A few records can stay — for example the record of your invitation and any waitlist sign-up.
  • Backup and supplier copies are removed on their own schedules. Anthropic says usually within 30 days.

Still being confirmed

How long we keep an original video when an analysis fails or never starts, and how long backup copies, technical records, invitation and waitlist records, and the other suppliers' copies are kept. We're still confirming this. If you need the detail now, email support@ridemind.ai.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your information, ask us to correct it or delete it, ask us to limit how we use it, and object to some uses. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time; that doesn't undo what was done before. Some rights have legal exceptions, and we'll explain if one applies.

To delete your account, open your Profile in the app (the person icon at the top) and use Account deletion, or use our Delete your account page if you can't use the app. For anything else, email support@ridemind.ai. We may need to check it's really you. We aim to answer within one month.

Complaints

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, email support@ridemind.ai. We'll acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, look into it, keep you updated and tell you the outcome without undue delay.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint.

Security and changes to this notice

We use access controls and other security measures to protect your information. No online service can promise perfect security.

We'll explain important changes to this notice before they apply, and ask again before any new use that needs your permission. The version and date are at the top of this page.
